DermEngine at AAD 2026: Advancing Dermatology and Aesthetics in Denver
The MetaOptima team had an excellent time at the AAD Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado. AAD 2026 brought together thousands of dermatology professionals from around the world. We were thrilled by the strong attendance at our booth throughout the conference and grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many brilliant clinicians, partners, and innovators across the industry.
Showcasing DermEngine’s Core Capabilities
At our booth, we showcased the latest advancements across our platform, including OptimaScan and DermEngine. Attendees had the opportunity to see firsthand how our tools support more efficient imaging workflows, smarter data management, and AI-driven insights that enhance clinical decision-making. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, particularly around the ease of use and ability to centralize patient data in one secure, intuitive system.
Live demos highlighted how DermEngine enables practices to capture, organize, and analyze skin images with greater precision, while also improving workflow efficiency. Many visitors were particularly interested in how our platform supports longitudinal tracking, helping clinicians monitor changes over time and make more informed decisions. These capabilities continue to position DermEngine as a powerful solution for modern dermatology practices looking to enhance both clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
Expanding into Aesthetics: What's New
One of the highlights of AAD was unveiling a sneak peak at our newest features in Aesthetics within DermEngine. We're expanding beyond traditional dermatology use cases to support a growing range of aesthetic applications. Among the most exciting updates were our body measurement capabilities, designed to provide accurate, consistent tracking over time— an essential tool for practitioners monitoring treatment outcomes.
We also introduced new facial and body part augmentation tools, as well as body measurement tracking and comparisons. These tools were designed to enhance consultations and treatment planning. These features allow providers to better visualize potential outcomes, improving communication, and helping patients feel more confident in their decisions. As interest in aesthetic dermatology continues to grow, these tools reflect our commitment to supporting practices with solutions that are both innovative and clinically meaningful.
Whether supporting medical dermatology, cosmetic procedures, or hybrid practices, DermEngine is built to adapt and grow alongside its users.
Looking Ahead
AAD 2026 made one thing clear: the future of dermatology is increasingly digital, data-driven, and patient-centered. Conversations throughout the event highlighted a strong interest in solutions that improve efficiency, enhance patient engagement, and unlock the full potential of clinical data.
We're leaving Denver inspired by the feedback we received and excited about what's ahead. The insights shared by attendees will continue to shape how we evolve DermEngine and expand its capabilities across both dermatology and aesthetics.
To everyone who visited our booth— thank you. We look forward to continuing the conversation and building the future of skin health together!
