MetaOptima is excited to announce that DermEngine, the world’s most intelligent dermatology software, is officially launched in Australia. Marking a key advancement in the early detection of skin cancer, medical professionals will be equipped with advanced dermoscopy tools for optimized care.
MetaOptima is proud to announce the successful raising of $8.6 million backed by Skip Capital & AirTree Ventures. Funds will be used to implement & build our intelligent dermatology platform, DermEngine, into the global dermatology industry beginning with Australia due to high rates of skin cancer.
From May 14th-16th MetaOptima team members Jodi Rai and Karen Meohas will be attending the BC Tech Summit to showcase MoleScope while discussing how dermoscopy tools powered by artificial intelligence are revolutionizing the digital health industry and supporting better patient care.
Optimal survival rates are intrinsically connected to the early detection of skin cancer through consistent medical imaging and patient engagement. Therefore, it is necessary to empower patients with mobile dermoscopy tools such as MoleScope to support them on their skin health journey.
CBC's Dr. Lin has recently recognized MoleScope, our smartphone dermatoscope as being one of these valuable tools in dermatology. Due to the rising rates in smartphone usage, companies are developing tools to support patients in their health, such as for the early detection of skin cancer.
In order to provide quality care while promoting the early detection of skin cancer, patients must be involved in their skin health. In addition to providing patients with educational resources, dermatologists are now able to offer MoleScope- a mobile dermoscope designed for in-home use.
We are proud to announce that our CEO, Maryam Sadeghi was announced as BC's Most Influential Woman in Health Tech in 2018! We'd like to congratulate her on this achievement and learn more about her journey to developing MoleScope (digital dermoscope) and DermEngine (intelligent dermatology software)
